Jon is a Norfolk based photographer, specialising in landscapes. He has a particular attraction to cold places, with his recent trips including winter visits to Iceland, Sweden, Finland and the Lofoten Islands in Norway. He also travels extensively within the UK, although Norfolk remains among his favourite locations for landscapes.

In 2017, Jon's image of the 08.52 from Barmouth won the Lines in the Landscape award in the Take a View Landscape Photographer of the Year competition. One of his images was commended in the same competition in 2016 and three in 2015, including a runner up in the urban section. Also in 2015, he won the Snow & Ice award in the International Landscape Photographer of the Year competition. He was shortlisted in both the 2013 and 2014 Travel Photographer of the Year competitions.

He is a regular entrant and award winner in the British Photographic Exhibitions (BPE) and Federation Internationale de l’Art Photographique (FIAP) exhibitions. He currently holds the titles of FBPE and EFIAP Platinum. In 2013 he won a Gold Medal in the Trierenberg exhibition, the world's largest photo art contest.

Jon uses Canon cameras with a range of lenses from 14 to 500mm.
